Long-time customers who own Sage MAS 90 and Sage MAS 200 that have long considered leveraging a Sage CRM solution to increase their effectiveness in customer service or managing sales processes now have one more very good reason to take the plunge!

Sage has announced a significant savings for “Grandfathered” customers on MAS 90 or MAS 200 to upgrade to the latest release of the Exteneded Enterprise Suite (EES) which couples MAS 90 or MAS 200 with a special version of Sage CRM for a tightly integrated Customer Relationship Management / ERP combination. The Extended Enterprise Suite retains all of the great features of MAS 90 or MAS 200 while adding CRM features in such a way that it truly feels like one piece of software. Here are the particulars of Sage’s offer to Grandfathered customers:

Through the end of Q3 (June 30th, 2009), you can migrate from MAS 90 or 200 to Sage MAS 90 or 200 Extended Enterprise Suite, and get a flat, per-user annual EES maintenance fee of only $150 per existing user! In many cases, we have been finding that customers can migrate to EES and enjoy lower annual maintenance than they currently pay! During tough economic times, this may be critical to customers who are struggling! Here are some key benefits of this program:

SalesLogix Today ships on a specially configured “Server Appliance” that includes system monitoring, nightly data backup and up to 30 hours of administrator assistance in the first 3 months of ownership.

The appliance, which includes a “full-featured” CRM application, costs $45,887 but can be financed at zero percent in terms of one to three years. For example, it would cost $51 per user per month for 25 users on a three-year financing arrangement, Sage said. A minimum of 10 users is required.

SalesLogix Today, which is also available hosted through Sage, can be shipped and set up within 24 hours.

This special edition of SalesLogix leverages the powerful web client that was released in the 7.5 version for maximum flexibility in handling the needs of today’s increasingly distributed workforce.

TMC spoke to Sage’s General Manager of Sage CRM Solutions, David van Toor:

David van Toor, cited the “anywhere workforce” commitments of the Sage CRM Solutions 2010 product strategy and vision, first announced in March of 2008.

The product’s features include Web CRM allowing users to access SalesLogix anywhere via a Web browser. The Web client works with an Internet connection or while disconnected. In addition to sales force automation and marketing campaigns, customer support capabilities for assets, contracts, returns, and defects are now available through the Web client.

Expanded Customer Relationship Management
Sage MAS 90 and 200 Extended Enterprise Suite v1.2 includes a number of CRM enhancements to help sales and marketing efforts. Users now can create and graphically view multiple sales relationships between primary entities, such as a holding company and its subsidiaries, or “many-to-many” relationships where multiple sales representatives sell into various divisions of the same company. For marketing, professional mass email campaigns can be enhanced with advanced editing and also benefit from a new, multi-language spell checker. A branding toolkit also is included, which enables users to modify the look and feel of CRM screens, including adding logos to match a company’s corporate identity.

You can get a chance to meet IncorTech President and Founder, Steve Birdwell at the CCH User Conference today through Wednesday, 10/29/2008 at the Mariott in Palm Desert.

Steve told me he really enjoyed speaking with other CPA’s at the show about Sage Software and the eProcess Manager solution for compliance tracking. Apparently, many firms have yet to get their audit systems compliant with regulations and need an appropriate solution.

So, if you’re in Southern California attending the conference, be sure to drop by the Sage booth and shake hands with Steve.  I promise he won’t bite!
