FYI – it looks like Sage pulled back the promo that was being offered to EES users who were grandfathered by virtue of having purchased their MAS 90 since before 10/2003. We just got notice of this and that Sage is NOT honoring outstanding quotes. Can you say — oops..

Hi, Wayne – thanks for dropping by! Actually, I included the update which I received from my Sage Client Account Manager in the post above. Here is the update I received:

Effective 5/4/2009: The Q3 EES Grandfathering promotion ($150 maintenance per user) will apply to Grandfathered users over the first five (5). Normal maintenance will apply to the first five (5) users. Standard maintenance will apply on additional licenses outside of their current Grandfathered license count. This same standard applies to Sage’s current Grandfathering policy on MAS 90 to 200 migrations.

I don’t believe I have any customers who are affected by this change in the offer.
